I was most looking forward to the Prague castle. Walking into the cathedral was memorizing. There was stained glass and statues everywhere. It is said that if you stand on the graves inside the cathedral with a toothache it will be cured. While touring the castle we entered the room that the 3- year war started in. This amazed me as I view the war as an ancient thing so being able to go into the room was crazy. Inside the castle there were little shops and a cute little coffee shop too.
The Christmas market we went to was giant. I tried Smazeny syr which is like a mozzarella stick and it was good. We also had hot chocolate and walked around the city.
The Terezin memorial and concentration camp was a hard visit. When we first got into the museum we were surrounded by children’s drawings, they believed they would live but could not. It was eerie walking around a place knowing people were tortured right there.
