My name is Ahn Stéphie Louis, and I am 21 years old, majoring in General Hospitality and Tourism Management. My interests in life (currently) are travel, health, fitness, and self-improvement. I enjoy spending quality time with my friends and family, though I also value alone time tremendously. I was drawn to the Hospitality in London Program because I have always wanted to visit the UK, particularly London; it has always been on my radar for as long as I can remember. Additionally, London is a very famous tourist destination in Europe, and as a hospitality student, that piqued my interest.
I like to believe that they will have good hospitality and service in London. British people have a reputation for being agreeable and helpful. They have a plethora of historic landmarks and beautiful architecture to explore.

Additionally, London is a cultural melting pot. I am sure that the gastronomy will be top-notch, regardless of the stereotypes surrounding British food.
I am a very open-minded and outgoing person, and these are core values for people who enjoy traveling and for hospitality students in general. I will demonstrate my eagerness to learn and explore with an open mind during this entire experience.
My brand will be reflected in my writing and my overall behavior. I will give fervent details of my experience and how it made me feel, either as an individual student or even as part of a group.
By the end of this experience, I hope to:
• Have a better understanding of the London lifestyle. I have an idea in my head, and I am aware that, objectively, it might be flawed.
• Understand the subway system. I have traveled to different countries with train and subway systems, and if you have only lived in Florida like me, it can be a bit confusing. I hope to be able to move around, go places, and use the subway system by myself, outside of the group.
• Learn more about British food. British food has a bad reputation, but I want to believe that there is more to it. I think that it is misunderstood.
