Day 13 & 14

On our free day we slept in and prepared our luggage for the next day. Then Madisen and I went out for lunch and did some shopping and roamed the streets of Genova where we got to see a little band performing! We then went back to our apartment and got dressed and headed for the last dinner. 🙁 We had an amazing time and ate at Rosmarino where I had the Green Lasagna and Pansotti followed by Tiramisu for Dessert!! We then said our goodbyes. Then some of us went out to a club near by to end the night !

Departure day ! We left our apartments by 11. Madisen and I had breakfast downstairs near our apartment. We then ordered a taxi and headed to the train station .  We arrived in Milan and went our separate ways. 🙁 Madisen headed to her hotel and I headed to my flight to Barcelona! It was an amazing trip and will forever be in my memories !! 🫶🙏🏻

Day 11 & 12

We started off our morning in Rome and walked around the city and visited the Spanish steps, The Trevi Fountain and the Pantheon. They were all so amazing and interesting to visit !! Then we split up and our group headed for lunch at a beautiful local spot near the Pantheon and had some yummy pasta and dessert. We then headed to Vatican city which was super cool and then towards the Roman Forum and Colosseum!! I fell in love with the Roman Forum it was so beautiful to see all the architecture from years ago ! 

The next day we headed towards Milan ! We woke up early took the train and headed toward the Duomo! It was such a beautiful Cathedral and area! Then we roamed around by ourselves and had lunch at a good Pizzeria! Then later that day we headed toward the Fernet Branca distillery! It was amazing to see the history behind Fernet and to see all the 27 components that are used to make Fernet especially since im Argentinian !  

Day 9 & 10

We arrived early at the Train station and headed to Pisa ! We did a short tour around and arrived at The leaning tower of Pisa , and it was more beautiful in person ! We took some photos roamed around the area and town and had some snacks. We then met up and headed to train and headed towards Luca!! Luca was a beautiful small town surrounded by lots of green. We had lunch in a beautiful restaurant in the Piazza amphitheater and then rented a group bike and bikes around the walls ! Then we headed towards Florence got dressed up and had an amazing 3 course meal ! 

 We woke up in Florence and it was raining so we were all a little sad but then we toured the city and saw amazing landmarks. We had lunch at a local restaurant where we had the best Truffle Pasta and dessert ! After lunch the sun had came out a little and we walked around some more and rode the carousel!! We then headed to the station to go to Rome. We changed very quickly and went to a nice restaurant where we had Delicious meals! We then rode the lime scooters around the city and went to a bar and had a few drinks ! ☺️☺️

Day 7 & 8

Cinque terre!!! We woke up super early and headed to the train station and stopped in Monterosso which was amazing🤩! We did a 2 hour hike from Monterosso to Vernazza with outstanding views the whole hike!  I’m not going to lie it was pretty tough in the beginning but after seeing those views it was all worth it. After we got to Vernazza we had lunch by the water at Ristorante Luca where we had pasta and wine. Then we went for some Gelato and continued to the next town which was Riomaggiore . Once we arrived we went down to the water and had a mini nap on the rocks and swam in the water. After that we went into the last 2 towns briefly because it was already 6pm. The last one was also really beautiful which was Manarola 😍😍. We then took the 8:30 Pm train and headed back to Genoa!

Day 8 we slept in until 12 ! We woke up and got ready and headed for lunch at our favorite local spot Pasta Street! We all had different pastas and then stopped for Gelato. We then roamed around for a little and took a power nap. After that Elia and I went by the port for dinner and saw the beautiful sunset on the water. We walked around the port for a little and went for some Gelato at a local spot where we became friends with someone who works there ! 

Yesterday Thursday May 11th we had our “Free day” we woke up at around 10:30 had breakfast at the cafe we always go to near our apartment and headed to the station. We bought tickets to Nervi! We loved it so much the other day we went so we decided to go back and spend the day! We got there and had some lunch with an amazing view of the ocean and mountains. We bought a bottle of wine and laid by the rocks and soaked up some sun. We had Gelato and roamed around the city. We went back at around 7 went shopping for a little and then went to our apartment and changed and then had dinner at the local food market at the pier ! I had some Asado from an Argentinian stand and then a Canoli from a local Italian stand . It was an amazing free day !!

Today Friday May 12th we woke up early and headed to Piedmonte ! We had beautiful views of the towns and vineyards . We went Wine tasting and learned all the ways wine is produced and its fermentation processes ! We then proceeded to our amazing lunch where we had a 4 course lunch with 5 different wines !!! Then we walked over to the town and did a quick tour but then it started to rain and we headed back to Genova !!

Yesterday Tuesday the 9th was one of my favorite days so far ! I fell in love with all the places we went to ! First we started off in Santa Margherita which was stunning and where I had my first gelato . Then we went to Portofino🤩 which was my favorite! In Portofino we walked around and enjoyed the gorgeous views. We had sandwiches and took lots of pictures. After that we went to San Fruttuoso  which was another beautiful island where we actually went in the water ! It was ice cold but still so refreshing and magical. After that we took the boat back to the mainland and enjoyed time at Camogli before taking the train back to Genova! One of the best days every so far !!!

Today Wednesday the 10th we woke up super early at around 5:30 and got ready for the day ! We took the train all the way to Turin,Italy where we got to see the works of Lavazza coffee production. It was a super interesting experience. We got to see how the coffee is made from begging to end ! After that we took a bus to the Museum part of Lavazza where we toured and had some Coffee Caviar which was amazing ! Last but not least we got to chill and wander around the Turin Centro. Amazing last couple of days !!!!
